We take you along to see Emeralda Marsh and its serene beauty.
There are few places that provide more small surprises than this little gem about 15 minutes away from us.
The beauty of Emeralda Marsh includes both its birds and landscape.
That combined with its proximity to our Florida home, makes it a guaranteed favorite for us to visit again and again. The only downside is that it is only open on the weekends, so we have to remember what day it is when we get the urge to visit!
An introduction to Emeralda Marsh is in this earlier post. We take the drive and meet only one or two other cars along the way, which is probably good, because there are few pull-offs along the dike drive. Only the sounds of the birds and fish disturb the absolute stillness. Whether hot or chilly, the experience is a calming, soothing meditation of God’s beauty and bounty. For you youngsters, pure eye candy!
Most important to this blog is its accessibility. It is a drive that does not require you to get out of your car to commune with nature!
