Here’s a special treat for all you fairy garden,
miniature train garden,
and model train enthusiasts:
a photo tour of the model train garden at the German Pavilion at Epcot Center!
We understand that the original model was shown in 1995 Food & Wine Festival and was so popular that it became a permanent feature.
The three electric traveling trains are Lehmann Gross Bahn (LGB) G-scale models, moving through a Bavarian village
and into the countryside, in tunnels and over bridges, past people and picture-postcard scenery.
Again, we understand that the scenery changes for special events, such as adding topiaries during the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival;
small Marketplace Kiosks to complement the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival; and Christmas decorations and a nativity scene during the holidays.
